About us

Radosna vijest (Good News) is a non-profit publishing ministry in Croatia launched in 2023 with a vision to unite and equip evangelical believers in Croatia in worship of God, in living in accordance with the message of the Gospel, and in faithfully following Christ’s call to make disciples.

This vision compels us to present and teach the entirety of God’s revelation in the Holy Scriptures. We seek to train and equip pastors for fruitful ministry, and supply the believers with biblically faithful and theologically sound print and digital resources. We want to contribute to the spiritual renewal of believers of all ages, help them to understand the Gospel in its fullness and practically apply it in every area of their life.

The documents of the Lausanne Covenant and the Gospel Coalition best describe the beliefs that guided the founders of this initiative, and this is a summary of the principles and desires that guide our work:

• We are committed to the renewal of our faith in the Gospel, strengthening churches with new hope based on the promises received by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
• We believe that in many evangelical churches there is a broad consensus on the truths of the Gospel. However, we are also aware that we are easily misled by destructive false “gospels” that cannot further true faith.
• We therefore want to sharpen and solidify our understanding of the true Gospel, so that the present and future generations will be better equipped to worship Lord Jesus and do good to all people, especially those for whom He shed His blood and gave His life.
• We want to champion this Gospel with clarity, compassion, courage and joy – binding our hearts with other believers across denominational, ethnic and class boundaries.
• We call on all our brothers and sisters to help renew the contemporary church in the ancient gospel of Christ so that we truly speak and live for him in a way that clearly communicates to our age.
• We want to work with all who, in addition to accepting the confession and vision that is set out here, seek Christ’s lordship over all life with an unabashed hope in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform individuals, communities and cultures.
